The multiaxial quilting influences the varied depth of the corrosion treatment.
Stone Island’s newest season welcomes yet another innovation from the brand’s garment dye laboratories – the ability to apply its signature corrosion treatment to nylon. Each of the unique liner jackets is garment dyed with a deep pigment, which is then stripped back with alkaline compounds through hand-spraying, brushing, and washing, creating blurred, unique striations and one-of-one hues. Influenced by vintage liner jackets, the final piece is lined with resin for wind and water-resistant properties, creating the perfect jacket for the transitional seasons.
