For context, this is Kelly Wearstler’s – an American designer and interiors It girl since 1995 – tenth time working with The Rug Company. The Arwen rug is a tightly woven piece that has a checkerboard design handcrafted from a blend of natural materials in raised and cut pile for visual and tactile dynamism. The wool is soft underfoot and stain-resistant, the nettle adds depth to the texture and the silk reflects light, creating a subtle sheen that contrasts beautifully with the matte wool. It’s available in two gentle, earth-tone hues: Warm and Moss.
